With our writing prompts in The Artists Way class we create pieces that otherwise skip our mind. We talk about the seasons and now it is on our mind here in Florida as a joke. We don’t really have a change of seasons. The leaves fall all year round. It rains and the sunshine warms us. We experience a day or two of freeze, just enough to cover our gardens. Had I taken more time, I would have written that I love every season. Each with it’s special memories and times spent alone or with loved ones. Here is the latest from the writing prompt this week.
What season is your favorite and what do you love about it?
Fall had always been my favorite season.
To watch the leaves turn a multitude of colors was inspiring.
A drive up into the mountains and be able to look out over the expansive view was amazing.
Seeking a patch of aspens turning colors as if it were a sunset lowering in front of you.
We no longer have those spectacular fall colors.
But every time we see even one leave fall from the oaks above, it takes us back to those drives in the mountains.
